Design and installation of Design Studios for The Soap Kitchen.
We were commissioned to design and build new studio space for The Soap Kitchen in Bideford.
We were asked to create a light work space for the design team . Public Craft workshops would also take place so the environment had to be very practical for soap making. We installed under worktop space so that the sides would stay clean and tidy.
We have produced a warm organic environment, with inspirational photo walls to get those creative wheels turning.
The building had no natural light so we installed glass windows at the front of the unit, light was still very limited so we used led daylight panels throughout.
Birch plywood and acrylic stone were key materials to create the look we wanted.
